Athletics fees for participating athletes, in each sport, must be collected (or a written payment plan must be on file with the financial secretary) prior to athletes’ competing in any sport.
If a family is on the free and reduced lunch program, the Jeffco athlete fee is waived. (Application HERE)
For other extreme, extenuating financial situations, the request for exemption verifying the situation should be submitted to the school athletic director and principal. If a payment plan is necessary, the first payment must be turned in to the Financial Office prior to the student’s participation in a contest. A written payment plan must be filed with the school’s financial secretary.
The following guidelines are to be followed:
Fees per athletics participant: $175 per sport, per athlete - paid via Jeffco Connect or in the EHS Financial office
Refund Policy - A full refund will be made to the athlete who is cut or quits before being involved in the sport through fifteen calendar days.
The athletic fee refund must be claimed on or before the starting date of the next season, and within the same school year.

Playoff events, tournaments and/or invitationals may charge higher rates. Playoff events will follow CHSAA guidelines for entry fees. Only CHSAA, CHSCA and CHSAA Media passes are accepted for free admission. No league passes, student athletic passes, employee passes, or staff passes will be accepted.
As an added convenience, credit cards will now be accepted at INDOOR Jeffco facilities for admission to athletic events. Sorry, but checks will not be accepted for admittance to games.
Athletic Admission Pass for Students
The $60 Jeffco Student Athletic Pass is purchased on Jeffco Connect and will allow the high school student free admission to any regular season athletic event held at Jeffco facilities, excluding any tournaments and invitationals. After purchasing the pass, students can bring their Evergreen ID to the Main Office for their 2021-22 sticker. Students without their Athletics Pass in hand will be charged entry.
Please note: If a student allows another student to use his/her pass, then the pass will be confiscated and privileges will be revoked, with no refund granted.
Lifetime Activity Pass
Available at no charge to all Jefferson County residents over the age of 55 or anyone who has retired from active service with Jefferson County Public Schools and is receiving PERA benefits.
Pass holders may attend activities and regular season athletic events sponsored by Jefferson County Schools without any admission charge.
It is recommended before attending an activity, other than an athletic event, to call the school for seating availability.
A school may designate specific functions as paid admission events only and passes will not be honored for those functions.
The pass is to be used by the named pass holder only and must be shown at the admission gate to enter at no cost.

Sold in booklets of 10 tickets for $55.00.
